The Convention has a block of rooms reserved at the Hampton Inn. To reserve a room contact the Hampton Inn directly and let them know you are part of the convention otherwise you will be told there are none available. Our reservation is good until May 10th so book early to ensure you get a room. Call 1-866-780-0999 to book. Rates are $119.00 per night plus taxes.

THURSDAY June 11
Afternoon and Evening: Registrations at the Hampton Inn Lobby
3:00 - 5:30PM: Branch Genealogists Meetings (in Strathcona Center)
3:00 - 7:00PM: Branch Displays/ Sales Tables area open in Strathcona Center
DINNER: On their own at locations near hotel
7:00 - 10:00PM: Welcome Reception Wine & Cheese (Cash bar)
FRIDAY June 12
Registration 8AM - 9:30AM in Hampton Inn Lobby
No breakfast supplied (Continental breakfast included for hotel guests)
OPTION A: MORNING AND AFTERNON BUS TOUR
Bus departs at 9:30AM from Hampton Inn, Napanee
-Travel via Highway 401 to Odessa, stop at Historic Babcock Mills
-Continue on to Amherstview with stops at Queen Elizabeth Gates
and Fairfield House and Park
-Travelling along the historic Loyalist Parkway to village of Bath,
-tour and luncheon at Fairfield Gutzheit House in Bath, walking tour of the
village to follow to visit other historic spots in town
-after lunch continue on Loyalist Parkway to Sandhurst with stop at the
McDowell Monument and James Rogers landing site
-Tour of two local wineries in mid afternoon
-Crossing at Glenora Ferry and visit to Lake on the Mountain
-visit to United Empire Loyalist Heritage Centre & Park in Adolphustown
-bus returns to Hampton Inn around 4:30- 5:00PM
OPTION B: MORNING WORKSHOPS with AFTERNOON BUS TOURS
-Bus Departs at 9:00AM from Hampton Inn, Napanee for United Empire
Loyalist Heritage Centre and Park in Adolphustown
-Welcome and full group presentation at 9:30AM
-groups select workshop presentations which include talks on
The Associated Loyalists of Ontario
The Roots of Canadian Methodism in Adolphustown
The Life of a Loyalist Soldier
The Role of the Loyalist Woman
-Workshops begins at 10:00AM
-short refreshment break at 10:50AM
-Second workshops begin at 11:10AM
-at 12:00PM group leaves by bus for Bath
-arrives at Fairfield Gutzheit House for lunch at 12:45
-bus tour of historic sites along the Loyalist Parkway in the afternoon
-return to Hampton Inn by 4:30PM
DINNER BANQUET: THEME: The 1884 Anniversary Celebrations of the Loyalists
Dinner to be held at Strathcona Paper Center, next to Hotel
Social Hour at 6:00PM, dinner service at 7:00PM
Guest Speaker: Sir John A Macdonald and Lady Agnes Macdonald
Branch Displays and sales area also opened during the evening
SATURDAY June 13
No breakfast supplied (Continental breakfast included for hotel guests)
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING: Bus leaves at 9:00AM for UELHCP
-9:30AM, Registration of all Delegates
-Meeting begins at 10AM,
-break around12PM for Buffet Luncheon
-1:00PM resume and conclusion of AGM Meeting
JUNE DOMINION COUNCIL MEETING to follow
-other activities in the Park in the afternoon
-bus returns to Napanee at 4:00PM
LOYALIST LANDING CELEBRATIONS:
This event will open at 10;00AM at the UELHCP and is open to
Conference participants and the general public
-ongoing all day will be encampment by various military, Loyalist
and Civilian artisans and re-enactors
-military manouevres and displays
-loyalist bateaux landing, followed by parade to the Cemetery
with Laying of Wreathes at the UEL monument and flag raising
-various displays and sales tables from historic organizations
-refreshments available for sale during the day.
UEL GALA BANQUET: Strathcona Paper Center in Napanee
Social Hour at 5:30PM, cash bar
Dinner Served at 6:30PM
Keynote speaker Sgt Major David Moore
Musical Entertainment from the Loyalist Fifes and Drums
SUNDAY June 14
CHURCH SERVICE AND LUNCHEON
Bus leaves Hampton Inn at 10:15AM for Hay Bay Historic Church
-11:00AM UEL style church service at Hay Bay Methodist Church
with presentation by Reverend Bill Lamb
-bus leaves at 12PM for UELHCP for lunch
-encampment still ongoing for participants to visit
-2PM bus returns to Hampton Inn, and guest leave
